53rd Anniversary of the Noon Lions Radio Auction in 2010
Noon Lions member Jim Bagnall (left)
recalls the first radio Auction 53 years ago to Mike Lindell, host of the
KFJB Central Iowa Today show. This year’s auction has over $13,000 in
merchandise and services donated by 180 local businesses to be sold to the
highest bidder. The auction takes place Monday through Thursday nights –
March 22-25 from 7-9 pm on 1230 KFJB radio. Join in the fun, hear your name
read over the radio, and even snag a bargain. It all goes to serve the sight
and hearing work of Lions.
