Sonos Handbell Ensemble

Yu Wei Chinese Dance Collection

A renowned Chinese choreographer and dancer, Yu Wei presents a captivating multi-media performance that intertwines culturally-rooted dance and compelling short films. Each dance has a short film counterpart that depicts the dance’s cultural background and behind-the scenes creation and reveals the underlying story of a young girl’s journey from the depths of China’s Cultural Revolution to success in America.

Dmitri Berlinsky

Russian violinist Dmitri Berlinsky is a classical rarity, achieving impeccable credentials through uncompromising artistry. As the youngest-ever winner of the Paganini International Violin Competition, he has studied at both Moscow Conservatory and The Juilliard School and has performed celebrated concerts in more than 40 U.S. states and 21 countries.

Wholly Brass

Side Street Strutters

The Side Street Strutters, a seven-piece band, capture the excitement and spontaneity of America’s greatest musical heritage—JAZZ! A few dynamic arrangements of popular Big Band tunes adds a little swingin’ spice to their down-home New Orleans repertoire. With colorful costumes, tap dancing, and rare instrument features, it’s no wonder this band is still going strong after 25 years!

Emily Skinner

The Marshalltown Community Concert Association (MCCA) of Marshalltown, IA, an all-volunteer non-profit organization, sponsors six concerts this year featuring national and international performers. For 69 years, the association has brought high quality concerts to the Marshalltown Community.

In addition to these six concerts we have reciprocity agreements with our sister Community Concert Associations in Newton, and Waterloo whereby our subscription fee will enable members to attend the concerts in these other cities at no additional cost.
